Laser Hair Removal

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal in an Ophthalmology office, you ask, yes!  The answer is in the name, we know lasers. Dr. Townshend, very familiar with lasers throughout her Ophthalmology career, opened up the availability for laser hair removal as a treatment option at Associated Eye Surgeons.

Most body hair is fine, pale and invisible to the naked eye. When darker, coarser hair appears in unwanted places, it may be time to consider hair removal with LightSheer Laser.

Laser treatments are performed in our Plymouth office. Prior to your visit, you will be instructed not to wax or tweeze hair for a period of time prior to treatment. On your first visit you will have a consultation with a test spot done to determine laser response on your skin. Depending on the area being treated, the procedure can take anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes. Recovery is short and most can return to normal activities the day of your procedure
